Saint Joseph’s Day Mimics Saint Patricks Day Sunshine Chilly
We had a sunny but chilly Saint Patrick’s Day. Now we will follow that up by a repeat performance for Saint Joseph’s Day which is Tuesday. Weather conditions across the US remain rather quiet with the immediate Gulf Coast & Florida the only areas where we have inclimate weather. Showers are off the Western Gulf coast & rain is heading for much of the Florida peninsula. Otherwise the weather across the US remains calm which just some ups and downs in temperatures over the next several days.
We will finish up the day with sunshine. Some light precipitation is well south on the regional radar. Earlier today there were some light snow showers and now we have light rain showers. Those are moving east along with the clouds so look for clear skies tonight with most lows in the 20s to lower 30s. Tuesday will be nice and sunny but chilly with highs in the 40s to around 50 in a few spots. Wednesday looks good with sunshine and warmer temperatures as we head into the 50s.
Thursday brings the next cold front with clouds and the chance for showers. Highs will be in the 50s. Friday brings another shot of chilly air and a strong upper trough that moves through. Friday starts with sun but clouds will develop and some rain or snow showers will be scattered around. Highs will be just in the 40s. There are no issues for the weekend. High pressure will keep things sunny and somewhat chilly on Saturday with highs in the 40s to near 50. Sunday however will will be warm with some sunshine as highs reach into the 60s away from the ocean.
There are still no major storms on the horizon and the next chance for any longer period of rain will be Tuesday and Wednesday of next week as low pressure will be coming in from the west and there might be another low offshore. There are plenty of make believe storms on social media’s horizon as the various usual suspects scour through weather models and find the ones that fit the “it is still winter..it is going to snow” agenda. As we pointed out the other day, the fat lady has sung. The winter is over as far as a substantial, accumulating, New Jersey state of emergency type snow. Ignore the nonsense.
