Next we focus attention on 2 tropical waves in the Tropical Atlantic which show some signs of organization let this afternoon and we ca see some turning in the cloud structures of both waves as they head westward. The National Hurricane Center rates both these systems at a 50 percent chance of developing in the next 5 days. Conditions appear favorable for development. There is a third wave off the African coast that has a 40% shot for developing in the next 5 days.

Dry air continues to be an issue across the Atlantic just north of where the waves are. This can inhibit development or at least slow it down. Weather models remain all over the place regading which if any of these systems develop.
