Highs Upper 80s Lower 90s Next Several Days
Now that last night’s weather system has moved away to the east the rains are done. Some areas picked up 1 to 2 inches. All Flash Flood Watches are cancelled and now we can transition over to what will be hot and humid conditions over the next 3 days. Other than an isolated shower or thunderstorm that could pop up, we should be okay with sunshine developing before lunchtime and afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. It will be noticeably more uncomfortable.
Hot Humid Weather Ahead Wednesday Through Friday
We are going to see heat and humidity each of the next three days. There is the chance for a thunderstorm late Thursday as an upper air disturbance moves through late in the day. Another chance for a thunderstorm is in the forecast for late Friday. Then Saturday we could see some thunderstorms again late in the day as a cold front arrives.
You can see 90 degree highs pretty much cover the entire region from Southeastern Pennsylvania through Southern New England. This is going to be a good vacation week overall to be at the area beaches.
A break in all this will come after Saturday’s cold front and thunderstorms as dry air comes in for Sunday with cooler temperatures (but still warm) and lower humidity.
