The thunderstorm activity and the cold front from yesterday are now long gone and we are now set up for a very nice Friday and a very nice weekend. Higher pressures build in and though temperatures will be very warm through the weekend the humidity will be a bit more reasonable. It appears also that there is no mechanism to trigger off even an isolated shower as the atmosphere will be rather stable right through Sunday. Enjoy what looks to be a great weekend with daytime highs in the upper 80s to near 90 and nighttime lows in the 60s to lower 70s in the warmer urban areas.
Tuesday will see the next cold front arriving and moving through but it does not appear to have much to work on. Once that front clears cool air will carry us through the rest of next week with below normal temperatures likely. No big storms on the horizon and the tropics remain quiet and calm.
