FiOS1 News Weekend Weather Forecast Spring
We are seeing strong gusty winds continuing this morning from the northwest over parts of the area as Wednesday’s major storm continues to slowly pull away to the northeast. Winds should begin to relax somewhat as we go through the day. Cloud cover however has diminished and other than some patchy clouds moving through from time to time today we should be in very good shape. Temperatures will reach the upper 30s and lower 40s for highs this afternoon and drop into the 20s to near 30 tonight.

FiOS1 News Weekend Weather Forecast Spring Local Radars
Radara have been showing some streaks of snow showers moving southeastward this morning across Southern New Jersey and Delaware but they should move out quickly and radars should be quiet this afternoon and through the weekend.
Saturday we will see some sunshine and less wind with temperatures reaching into the 40s. Sunday looks good with some sunshine. With a west southwest wind 50s will be widespread. This is the last weekend of February and March 1st marks the beginning of meteorological spring and that’s Tuesday so the countdown is on. You can see the spread of above normal temperatures for this Sunday covers a large chunk of the eastern U.S.
Long range the pattern looks to be very March like to start with fast moving weather systems coming across the country. One moves through Monday with no consequence other than a wind shift and temperatures in the 50s before the front passes. Wednesday the next storm system goes by to our north setting us up for a round of showers and mild temperatures ahead of it. Other than that it looks pretty quiet from the standpoint of big storms and there don’t appear to be any snow threats at all. In fact it is becoming more and more apparent that unless we get a pattern spike again like we did in late January, we might be done with accumulation snow for the winter.
