Finally An Almost Cloud Free Day
We have been seeing slow improvement from day to day. Each day has a bit more sunshine and a bit less cloud cover. We seem to be enjoying a fair amount of sunshine today. Other than a few passing clouds we should be in good shape. Temperatures will be on the cool side with highs in the upper 50s right along the immediate coast to some middle 60s in areas to the west where the wind off the ocean has minimal impact. The satellite loop shows the rotation of the upper air storm over Quebec and that upper low will gradully drop southeast underneath the block to the northeast of it.

Radar should be rather quiet over the next couple of days and won’t begin to load up until Friday when low pressure heads our way from the southwest. Sunshine Thursday will be an all day a fair with highs in the low to mid 60s. Friday we will begin to see arriving clouds as that next storm system approaches for the weekend.

Low pressure will be developing along the Middle Atlantic coast this weekend. Saturday and Saturday night, it will be raining and most weather models are producing a 2 inch plus rainfall for most of the area. The question for Sunday is whether the rain pulls out early and weather conditions improve in the afternoon. Temperatures will be cool through the weekend especially on Saturday where it wont be much out of the 50s.
