FiOS1 News Weather Broadcast For Wednesday Fall Foliage Viewing

If you loved Tuesday you will love Wednesday. First off tonight is delightful with clear skies, light winds and cool temperatures but reasonable. Lows overnight in the coldest spots will be in the 40s except low 50s in coastal and urban areas. With high pressure buliding down from the north on Wednesday we will have another day of nearly cloudless conditions and sunshine, however the wind will be from the northeast. This will mean that coastal areas and Eastern New Jersey and Long Island will be in the 60s for highs while inland highs should reach the lower 70s without any problem.

Thursday we will see moisture that is now in the Carolina’s sneak northward and this will bring some clouds into the mix. Later in the day and Thursday evening there could be some drizzle or light rain but even if it happens it should not amount to much. There should be at least a few breaks of sunshine during Thursday morning. Friday we will see near record highs and some breaks of sunshine as highs get back into the 70s everywhere. Friday night a cold front will move through and there won’t be much moisture with that. Saturday and Sunday will be much cooler with sunshine coming back but temperatures will be about 15 degrees colder as temperatures return back to normal.

Longer term there are no storm or rain threats of consequence until maybe later next week as a stronger cold front approaches. At worst temperatures will be near or above normal through the middle of next week though the weekend will tend to be closer to normal in temperatures.

Fall foliage was just amazing Tuesday and will be just as amazing on Wednesday.

With regards to the longer range pattern we have the latest from JOESTRADAMUS on this.

JOESTRADAMUS also put his winter forecast out for the winter of 2015-2016.
