It is going to be another brutal day with sunshine, hot temperatures, and tropical humidity. High temperatures in many locations will be in the middle to upper 90s. The tropical humidity will make it feel like it is at least 105. For relief at the beaches you will have to stand in the water because there will be no sea breeze to speak of. Of course all of this heat could lead to scattered thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening much like the past few days. It is essentially wash rinse repeat.
The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a marginal risk to the west today but given the intensity of the heat, high dew points, and an unstable atmosphere, any individual thunderstorm could grow into something intense even if it is only for a very short time. Keep you eyes to the sky later this afternoon in case thunderstorms develop. Most areas won’t see any.

Sunday will be last day of the oppressive heat as a weather front moves through Sunday evening. It will be hot and humid with some late thunderstorms and the Storm Prediction Center has the area in a marginal risk of severe weather for Sunday afternoon and evening. Some relief comes Monday and Tuesday with slightly lower temperatures and humidity.
