Easter Weekend Underway
With the Easter weekend underway we are seeing dry air covering us for this Saturday. Sunshine will be the rule today. Other than a few passing clouds there will be no problems at all. During this afternoon a northeast wind will begin to take hold over the area. We won’t see any ocean clouds moving in but it will put a lid on temperatures. Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s away from the ocean but as we near the coast, temperatures will peak in the low to mid 50s and then fall back into the 40s in some areas. No big storms are evident on the satellite loop. If you are traveling this weekend anywhere with 300 miles of our area, you will have no weather problems at all.

Radars both regionally and locally are nice and quiet and should remain so through the day time Sunday. During Sunday night some light rain may begin to develop in the ocean and it is possible that it could spread inland overnight Sunday into Monday morning.

As we move through Monday another weather front will be approaching with some showers. Temperatures on Monday are a tough call with the onshore flow relaxing about the time the weather front comes through. So we probably wont see winds go around to southwest and temperatures climbing. It is more likely that we will stay in clouds with temperatures in the 50s to perhaps a few lower 60s.

Tuesday and Wednesday we dry out with sunshine and temperatures in the 50s. Late this week a stronger cold front will come through with showers later Thursday and Friday. This sets us up for a shot of very cold air for next weekend.
