DRY SUNDAY INTO MONDAY…THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY

No weather issues today as we will see plenty of sunshine and a nice northeast breeze so that should keep things a little cooler at the shore but most inland highs should reach the lower 80s. Enjoy your Sunday. August is marching along and before you know it summer will be done.

These maps above are for 8am Monday and 8pm Monday and they show no rain for Monday but there could be a few showers late Monday afternoon or evening in Northeast Pennsylvania as these are running out ahead of the main front. Heavier downpours should start to arrive around or after midnight across the area and continue into Tuesday afternoon. 1 to 2 inches of rain are possible in some thunderstorms. Joe’s Forecast has the latest on the prospects for rain on Tuesday and how much. Once the front passes it looks like the weather will be dry and seasonal with regards to temperatures, maybe a little below normal Wednesday and Thursday and then it could turn very warm at the end of the week and into next weekend.
