Cold Weather Into Sunday
At least from the standpoint of what is going on this morning weather wise, the cold part of the equation into Sunday is the easy part. We have sunshine around for today with some passing clouds and I even put in the chance for a snow shower as there are some lake effect streamers indicated on the radar so somebody might see a passing flake. Most temperatures today will hold in the 30s. Other than that there are no major weather complications into Sunday.

Skies will be clear tonight with lows in the 20s and a few upper teens will show up in areas well north and west of the normally warmer urban centers. Saturday looks nice and sunny but cold with highs just in the 30s. Sunday we will see arriving and thickening clouds as low pressure starts to move toward us from the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes.
With regards to Sunday night into Monday morning snow I am keeping an open mind on this though quite honestly the mid cycle runs left me a little underwhelmed. We will see where this all goes later this morning. My snowfall forecast map remains unchanged for the moment. From the standpoint of the drought this will be another drought denting rain with up to an inch of liquid possible.
