Coastal Flood Warning is in effect through Friday evening and will likely be extended through Saturday at least. The persistent onshore flow with high pressure to the north and low pressure to the south continues to produce a very tight pressure gradient resulting in gale force winds along the coast. Gale Warnings are in effect for the New Jersey coastal waters right through the weekend. We will also see some on and off rain through Saturday though weather conditions could improve on Sunday especially if Hurricane Joaquin stays offshore and passes to the east of New Jersey.
