Showers Early Sunday Then Sunshine
Improvement in a pattern like this comes very slowly and we are still seeing a few downpours here and there. There are still lots of clouds around as the upper air low takes longer to break down. You can see the spinning on the satellite loop that is still evident so the process of breaking that down continues. Meanwhile north and west of there you can also see the approaching cold front in the Great Lakes that will come through here Sunday morning. That will finally clean house around here from west to east with just a few morning showers followed by some sunshine.

High temperatures this afternoon will attempt to make it into the 60s. Then lows tonight will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Some showers move through between 4am and 8am from west to east. Later Sunday we go partly sunny with a northwest wind and highs in the mid 60s to near 70. Monday looks good with sunshine and highs in the mid 60s to lower 70s.
Longer range I think we may be okay for Tuesday before it goes downhill a bit later next week. We will post more on this later today.
