Beautiful Weekend Continues Sunshine 80s Last Day of Summer
Our weekend has been just about perfect so far and we have a great Sunday underway with lots of sunshine, warm temperatures, and humidity levels that while higher, are not at all unreasonable. Temperatures will be warming up into the low and middle 80s today. This is certainly a good beach day. Skies are clear up and down the coastal areas. Some high clouds are showing up well inland north and west of the coast. The radars are quiet. Enjoy the day. No rain is forecast for the last day of the summer.
We don’t see any big issues for the week ahead. The pattern is dry and it seems that for the most part this week will be a dry week. We do have two cold fronts to contend with. One will arrive later Monday into Monday night. Look for warm and somewhat humid conditions on Monday with some sunshine giving way to clouds and the chance for late day showers. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
There isn’t much to this cold front as dry seasonal air follows it for Tuesday and Wednesday. There should be some sunshine both days with highs in the 70s The front will be enough to push Jerry to the northeast toward Bermuda Tuesday and then out to sea. Thursday sees another cold front approaching and moving through.
There isn’t much to this cold front either with the upper pattern so dry and the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic cut off. Our week ahead really looks uneventful and quiet. This front passes with just a few clouds or maybe an isolated shower, otherwise look for some sun Thursday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s and then it is back to some sunshine on Friday to finish off this week with highs in the 70s.
