JOE & JOE WEATHER SHOW WEDNESDAY 9/30/2020 7PM

We have a beautiful day of weather ahead of us. Our satellite picture shows the old frontal boundary from Tuesday’s cold front well offshore and off the Florida east coast. Skies are clear over much of the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states. It makes for a lovely day of sunshine and highs a range of 70 to 75. There are no issues today and the radar is quiet. For the most part there are no issues for the weekend except for a short window late tonight and Friday morning.

A weak cold front will be moving through late tonight into Friday morning. It might have a passing shower or two when it goes by but after that we see cooler air coming in behind it. This sets us up nicely for the weekend. Once any showers are done leftover clouds will give way to some sun Friday afternoon from west to east with highs just in the 60s.

Friday night will be mostly clear and most lows will be in the 40s. Saturday looks nice and sunny with highs in the low to mid 60s. Sunday we will see a sunny start but clouds will arrive later in the day. Highs again will be in the low to mid 60s. Sunday night into Monday morning we have a weather system moving east across the Great Lakes into the Northeast and some sort of coastal secondary that forms Sunday night. Between the two there should be some rain Sunday night into Monday morning, and then weather improves later Monday. Temperatures again will be in the 60s. This might be a quarter to half inch rain producer; some spots might get a bit more as you head northeast. This could be another dent into the dry/drought conditions in the Northeast.
