Another Flawless Day Record Highs Rain Wednesday Into Thursday Week Ahead Outlook

This is going to be another winner of a day. We have sunshine and a west wind and that is a recipe for another round of record high temperatures. Highs will reach the mid 70s to warm spots getting to 80 degrees or so. This has been a terrific stretch of weather for sure and we should extended out into the start of Tuesday although some changes are on the way.

Satellite pictures this morning show nothing but sunshine from Central New England to the Mid Atlantic states. It should be another day of wall to wall sunshine. The radar is silent today and will remain so right through Tuesday.

We are going to be losing the high as it moves east and our west wind will go more southwest and then south later Tuesday. Tonight should be another night of mild conditions. Some low clouds and fog might develop near the coast. Tuesday’s highs will be in the 70s and we should have at least some sunshine. Then it is on to Wednesday and the next cold front.

Tropical Storm Eta will likely not get involved with this cold front as it is just far enough south to miss getting picked up. Some of the tropical moisture feeding in from the Caribbean to the Bahamas will likely surge northward and enhance some of this rain. Look for it to arrive from west to east Wednesday afternoon and then it should be out by early Thursday. The cold front should push far enough offshore to bring dry weather for Friday into Saturday. Then as the GFS model shows another front will approach and that could bring up some of the remaining Eta moisture and bring rain here for Sunday.
