Last night’s thunderstorms were about as widespread as we have seen in a long time. Some areas received 2 to 3 inches of rain in some places. And it is certainly better than getting nothing at all. Now we move ahead to a nice Wednesday with sunshine and temperatures in the 80s. No showers or thunderstorms are forecast today or Thursday. Thursday we will see plenty of sun with highs again in the 80s.

Friday sees the next cold front move through. I think there could be the risk of some showers and thunderstorms for getaway day though it is not an all day rain. Then the weekend looks good all three days in my view with sunshine and temperatures each day in the 80s with reasonable humidity at least through Sunday.
