Columbus Day Dry Cool
COLUMBUS DAY DRY & COOL
WEEK AHEAD FORECAST LOOKS QUIET
Hurricane Matthew is finally moving away from the coast. The noreaster conditions that it produced today along coastal areas is now over with. Dry chilly air is coming down behind it and that will be the story for the first part of this week. Columbus Day will be dry with no worse than partly sunny skies and temperatures just in the 60s for highs. The back edge of the clouds continues to push eastward. Skies will clear out shortly if they haven’t already.
Radars continue to calm down. The rain area is shifting offshore. Nothing is out to the west.
Tuesday morning is shaping up to be a chilly one in the northeast with 30s and even some 20s across upstate NY & parts of New England.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be nice and sunny with highs in the 60s. Thursday we will probably warm up toward 70 or so as the next front moves through. That front will be dry when it comes through. Another cool high and dry air follows for Friday and next weekend.
