Record Highs NY NJ
There is abundant sunshine as shown on the satellite loop with much of the cloud cover well to the north and west. We expect sunny dry conditions for the rest of the day. Much of tonight should be cloud free however along the coast some low clouds and fog will probably develop and spread inland over parts of Long Island, Coastal Connnecticut, and Coastal New Jersey during the overnight. Any fog should be patchy in nature and not widespread.

Thursday wlll be another very warm day with highs again in the 70s however there will be more clouds developing as a cold front begins to descend from the north. That front will produce some showers during Thursday night and into Friday morning. Weather conditions will improve during Friday with cooler temperatures and some developing sunshine. Highs will be in the cooler 50s.
Right now the weekend looks good for Saturday with highs in the 50s. Then look for increasing clouds on Sunday as an onshore flow develops. This is going to set us up for rain Monday and Tuesday as the onshore flow stays in control.
